Brownsville Concrete Company provides concrete contracting services including but not limited to driveway installation, patio construction, slab foundations, sidewalks, retaining walls, decorative concrete, and related work. Services are performed in Brownsville, TX and the surrounding Rio Grande Valley area.
All services are provided subject to a written proposal or agreement, site conditions, material availability, and permit approvals where applicable. We reserve the right to decline any project at our sole discretion.
Estimates provided by Brownsville Concrete Company are based on information available at the time of the site visit and are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing. An estimate is not a binding contract until both parties sign a written proposal or work order.
Estimates may be revised if site conditions differ materially from what was observed during the initial visit, if the scope of work changes at the customer's request, or if material costs increase significantly between estimate and project start. We will notify you in writing before proceeding with any work that would result in additional charges beyond the original estimate.
Verbal quotes are informal only and not binding. All binding pricing will be confirmed in a written proposal.
Project start dates are scheduled based on crew availability, permit timelines, and weather conditions. We will provide you with an estimated start date in advance. Schedules are subject to change due to weather, permit delays, or circumstances beyond our control.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation of a confirmed project after materials have been ordered or permits have been pulled may result in cancellation fees to cover direct costs incurred. We will communicate any such fees in writing before finalizing a cancellation.
We reserve the right to reschedule or suspend work due to unsafe weather conditions, including extreme heat, heavy rain, or severe storm warnings. Concrete poured in unsafe conditions may not cure properly, and rescheduling protects the quality of the finished product.
Payment terms will be specified in your written proposal. In general:

Brownsville Concrete Company is not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities, underground lines, or other obstructions that were not disclosed prior to work beginning. You are responsible for having all underground utilities located and marked before excavation work begins.
Brownsville Concrete Company warrants that work will be performed in a professional manner using quality materials. Any warranty terms specific to your project will be stated in your written proposal.
Concrete is a natural material and minor surface cracking, color variation, and surface imperfections are a normal part of curing and aging. These are not considered defects and are not covered under warranty. Cracks caused by tree roots, soil movement, heavy vehicle loads exceeding the designed capacity, or impacts are also excluded from warranty coverage.
Except as expressly stated in a written proposal, all services are provided "as is" without additional warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Brownsville Concrete Company's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Brownsville Concrete Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or damage to property not directly caused by our work, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.
